易混淆動詞hear∕listen to;see∕look at

1.hear是一種「自然無意的動作」
2.listen是一種「有意的動作」。如後面有受詞則需加to;如沒有受詞,listen之後不可加to。
3.hear from(得到消息);hear of(聽說)
The deaf cannot hear.(聾子聽不見。)
Listen, it is raining.(聽,下雨了。)
Listen to the teacher.(聽老師說。)
We listened but heard nothing.(我們注意聽,但沒聽見什麼。)
see/look at
1.see是「無意」的看。
2.look是「有意」的看。如後面有受詞則需加at;如沒有受詞,look之後不可加at。
I saw him enter your room.(我看見他進入你的房間。)
Look, a policeman is coming.(看,警察來了。)
Don’t look at me like that.(不要那樣看著我。)

rise
rise – rose – risen(vi.)(日月)昇起;(人)起身;(物價、水)上揚、上漲
The sun rises in the east.(旭日東昇。)
Tom rises early.(湯姆起得早。)

raise – raised – raised(vt.)舉起;養育;募款;種植
Raise your right hand.(把你的右手舉起來。)
The farmer raises crops and cattle.(農夫種植農作物和飼養牛群。)
arise
arise – arose – arisen(vi.)升起;產生;出現;形成
An unexpected disaster arose in the course of their experiment.
(他們進行實驗的過程中,出現了意想不到的困難。)
A mist arose from the lake.(湖面起了濃霧。)
rouse
1.rouse – roused – roused(vt.)
2.通常用在表示比較具體的「叫醒」或「喚醒」
The sound roused him from reflection.(聲音使他從沉思中驚醒。)
arouse
1.arouse – aroused – aroused(vt.)
2.通常用在表示比喻或情緒方面的「引起」或「激發」
The book aroused my interest in politics.(這本書引起我對政治的興趣)
