假設句的介紹

一、與現在事實相反的假設

(一)連接詞：

If

(二)條件子句

主詞 +   

1.were

2.過去式V

3.過去式助動詞 + 原形V

(三)主要子句

主詞 +    should/would/could/might     + 原形V

If he were rich, he would buy the bank.

（他若是有錢，他會買這間銀行。）

If I had time, I would study French.

（我若有時間，就要學法文。）

If I could fly, I would fly to London.

（我若能飛，我要飛去倫敦。）

(四)Be動詞，不論人稱，一律用were，如：

If I were a bird,......

If you were here,......

If he were rich,......

二、與過去事實相反的假設

(一)連接詞：

If

(二)條件子句：

主詞＋had＋p.p.

(三)主要子句：     

主詞 +    should/would/could/might     + have +p.p.

        If he had studied hard, he could have won the scholarship.

（假如他當時用功，他可能已經得了獎學金。）

〔但他當時沒有用功，所以他沒有得到獎學金。〕

        If I had had enough time, I would have gone abroad with you.

（假如當時我有足夠的時間，我會跟你出國。）

三、與未來事實相反的假設

(一)連接詞：

if

(二)條件子句：

主詞＋were to＋原V

(三)主要子句：     

主詞＋    should, would/ could, might ＋原形V

If the sun were to rise in the west, I would not change my mind.

（即使太陽從西邊出來，我也不會改變我的心意。）

→ 事實上太陽絕對不可能從西邊出來。

 2.   If I were to be reborn, I would be a musician.

（如果我能再生，我要成為一個音樂家。） →人不可能再生。
